ESPEC CORP. (Head office: Kita-ku Osaka City, Representative Director and President: Satoshi Arata) received 3.5 stars (deviation ranging from 55 to under 60) in the overall rankings of the NIKKEI Sustainable Management Survey, SDGs Edition organized by the Nihon Keizai Shimbun.
The NIKKEI Sustainable Management Survey, SDGs Edition rates corporate initiatives for achieving the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The companies are evaluated and given general scores in four categories of SDGs Strategy & Economic Value, Social Value, Environmental Value, and Governance. The survey saw 830 listed and other companies participating this year.
The Company was recognized primarily for our reporting and communication on "SDG strategy and economic value," our human capital management on "social value," and energy consumption monitoring and reduction achievements on "environmental value." Moving forward, ESPEC will continue to help achieve SDGs through our business activities.
