Rated 3.5 stars in The 3rd Nikkei SDGs Management Survey

ESPEC CORP. (Head office: Kita-ku, Osaka, President and Representative Director: Masaaki Ishida) was rated 3.5 stars in the general ranking of the 3rd Nikkei SDGs Management Survey organized by Nikkei, Inc. (the Nihon Keizai Shimbun).

The Nikkei SDGs Management Survey rates corporate initiatives for achieving the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The companies are evaluated and given general scores in four categories of SDGs Strategy & Economic Value, Social Value, Environmental Value, and Governance.
In this year, 846 companies, including domestic listed companies, participated and Espec was rated 3.5 stars (deviation between 55 and under 60) in the general ranking.
We formulated our sustainability policy, identified and disclosed the materiality (important issues) that we must address in order to achieve sustainable growth in this year. We are also working on education and other activities to promote employee understanding of the SDGs.
We will continue to contribute to the achievement of the SDGs through our business activities.
