Regarding the Recent Novel Coronavirus Infection at an ESPEC Subsidiary

On Wednesday, September 8, one person at ESPEC TEST SYSTEM CORP. (Kobe City), a subsidiary of ESPEC CORP., was confirmed as having become infected with the novel coronavirus.
After a fever broke out On Monday, September 6, the employee underwent a PCR test the following day, which came back positive on Wednesday, September 8. The employee will be recuperating at home for the foreseeable future.
The Public Health Center has confirmed that no one within the company has come into close contact with the infected individual.
We apologize for any concern that may have been caused to local residents and to everyone else involved.
ESPEC will continue to take appropriate infection control measures based on the policies of the federal and local governments.
