Regarding the Recent Novel Coronavirus Infection at ESPEC

Two people at Kanagawa Sales Office(Kawasaki City) was confirmed as having become infected with the novel coronavirus.
One of the employee reported a fever on Wednesday, August 25, and underwent a PCR test the following day, which came back positive. The employee will be recuperating in a hotel for the foreseeable future. Another employee underwent a PCR test due to failing ill on Friday, August 27, which came back positive on Saturday, August 28. The employee will be recuperating at home for the foreseeable future.
The Public Health Center has confirmed that no one within any of these two ESPEC locations has come into close contact with these individuals.
We apologize for any concern that may have been caused to local residents and to everyone else involved.
ESPEC will continue to take appropriate infection control measures based on the policies of the federal and local governments.
