Regarding the Recent Novel Coronavirus Infection at ESPEC

On Saturday, August 21, one person at the Osaka Sales Office (Neyagawa City) was confirmed as having become infected with the novel coronavirus.
On Thursday, August 19, it was determined that the employee was in close contact with an infected individual outside the company. The employee underwent a PCR test the following day, which came back positive on Saturday, August 21. The employee will be recuperating at home for the foreseeable future.
The Public Health Center has confirmed that no one within the company has come into close contact with the infected individual.
We apologize for any concern that may have been caused to local residents and to everyone else involved.
ESPEC will continue to take appropriate infection control measures based on the policies of the federal and local governments.
