Regarding the Recent Novel Coronavirus Infection at ESPEC

On Thursday, July 30, one person at the ESPEC Nagoya Sales Office was confirmed as having become infected with the novel coronavirus.
Following a fever on Saturday, July 25, the employee was quarantining at home after falling ill. A PCR test was performed on Tuesday, July 28, and the results on Thursday, July 30, came back positive.
The Public Health Center has confirmed that no one has come into close contact with the infected individual.
In addition to thoroughly disinfecting the sales office, and in cooperation with the Public Health Center with jurisdiction over the office, ESPEC will take appropriate measures to ensure safety, including conducting temperature checks and health observations of all staff at the sales office and their families.
We apologize for any concern that may have been caused to local residents and to everyone else involved.
ESPEC will also continue to take appropriate infection control measures based on the policies of the federal and local governments.
