How to succeed at accelerated testing |
|
Abstract
Recent years have seen product development evolve into an increasingly
fast-paced process that has a greatly abbreviated product life cycle. Today
we take for granted accelerated testing to compress the product testing
period. However, unless accelerated testing is performed in accordance
with test objectives, whether to detect design flaws, to detect defects
that appear in the field, or to accurately grasp (predict) product life,
such testing is meaningless.
This report shall look at accelerated testing with a focus on environmental stress,
and shall also present some real world examples of the type of problems and failures
by which the tester, especially one with limited experience, can easily be tripped
up. |

Guidance for accelerated testing and reliability
- For electrical and electronic parts and equipment - |
|
Abstract
In this report, we would like to present the logic
behind accelerated testing in an
easily understandable way, from the standpoint of
environmental testing used in the
fields of electricity and electronics. |

Humidity Measurement and Control in the HAST |
|
Abstract In this article, we shall look at environmental factors such as temperature and
humidity that are related to testing in this type of special environment. I shall also discuss
the current state of actual testing equipment and test standards, as well as the methods of
measuring and controlling humidity at temperatures exceeding 100 °C. |
