Their operation, however, can be severely affected by environmental conditions such as intense sunlight, rain and snow, as well as vibration and pressure. As they are expected to function trouble-free no matter what the conditions, this is where environmental tests play an important role.
In environmental tests they are exposed to artificial environments with variations in temperature, humidity, pressure, and vibration in order to assess how they are affected and to verify their quality and reliability. ESPEC's is applying our environment testing technology to a wide range of environmental projects, such as for recovering waterfronts and forests. We are helping to conduct the environmental assessments needed for improving the natural environment through quick regeneration of vegetation to as close a natural state as possible, improving urban landscapes by establishing greenbelts along roadsides and at factory sites, and planting forest "shelterbelts" for preventing disasters such fires and soil erosion. |

Waterfront Recovery
ESPEC is working to improve the waterfront environment, such as by using aquatic plants to regenerate natural vegetation and by constructing vegetation-covered embankments. |
