ESPEC will never harm the precious environment of the Earth. Our responsibility is not be limited to the provision of superior services without imposing a burden on the environment. The ESPEC way is to seek opportunities to help the environment.

[Basic Philosophy]

The ESPEC Group sees environmental preservation ,protection and improvement as the highest priority for corporate management. In keeping with our role as a corporate group involved in the manufacture, sales and maintenance of environmental testing equipment, electronic device systems and other products, we will work under the following policies to prevent environmental contamination and achieve continuing improvement in our environmental management activities, and in our products and services.

[Basic Policies]

1. We will use our sales and maintenance activities to learn about customersÍ wishes toward the environment, and we will use this information as feedback for the improvement of our products and services.
2. We will conduct research and development relating to energy conservation, recycling and alternative energy technologies, and we will develop products that reduce environmental loads at all stages of the product lifecycles.
3. We will supply environmentally sound products and services through our sales and maintenance activities.
4. We will reduce power consumption and waste emissions in our production activities.
5. We will contribute to the creation of a recycling society by encouraging customers to use the ESPEC Recycling System.
6. We will use green procurement and purchasing systems.
7. We will actively contribute to Environmental protection activities involving all of society through participation in environmental improvement and measurement projects, and through social contribution activities.
8. We will work to protect and conserve the environment through careful management of resources, energy, waste and hazardous substances in all areas of activity.
9. We will undertake environmental education and information activities to raise the environmental awareness of our employees and their families.
10. We will comply with all environment-related laws and other requirements to which the ESPEC Group has agreed. Where necessary we will also establish voluntary standards as part of our environmental risk management efforts.

We will put these policies into practice by developing environmental management system, by setting environmental targets and goals that are technically and economically feasible, and by regularly reviewing our environmental management systems.

These environmental policies will be made public within and beyond the ESPEC Group.
